The Beauty of Love
As he approached the junction, he felt his senses being willed out. His eyes were fixed at mould of beauty while his nose strained to perceive the smell of the perfume she wore. Considering her beauty, even at that far distance amidst the numerous people around her and himself too. His hands were shaking and could wait no longer to feel the palms of the hands of this lady who has stolen his sanity. This was not only to find how soft and fresh they felt but also, how soothing they could be in comforting him. All this while, his tongue was rolling in rehearsal of the millions of words to be woven to paint the perfect picture to arrest her interest. At that same time, his ears stayed calm to be able to assimilate every ounce of sweetness that could be coming out of the mouth of such venomous beauty.
As he reached the spot, his heart began to beat at its athletic level with full throttle opening. That was before he beheld the soft sweet smile that could not be overshadowed by the pretence beauty tried to put up. The depth of the hollowed dimple that was engraved on her cheeks gave her off, as she could not seal them.
“Hi, my lady
Hi, have we met before?
I cannot be very sure, but my name is Steve, and you are…?
I am Julia”
She replied, in no scenical way but with a simple straight face. Then one question led to the other and the other to another and so, until they departed to meet at date.
It was a nice and a perfect date for the two that day because they both had a lot of fun to the extent that they felt that they have gotten so much into each other. Before Julia and Steve departed that day from the paradise they found themselves in, Steve gathered courage that could move the mountain Everest from its location in Mahalangur of the Himalayas to Africa and said with all seriousness for the first time in his life to any lady and to Julia, “I love you”. The combination of these words was so heave that after spilling them out, he became lighter than the warm air that floated so high above the earth surface, defying gravity. The feeling of restlessness engulfed the entirety of his make-up, just waiting to hear her response.
“I will need some time to think about this”, Julia said and for the next two weeks, Steve knew no peace within himself in waiting for Julia’s response.
Love is the most powerful thing in the world..with love we can win anybody`s heart or we can win anybody..
